Level 1 AustCycle Presenter/Assessor Orientation - Final EOI's
With AustCycle about to launch an expansion of the Level 1 AustCycle Teacher Accreditation Program, identifying and accrediting AustCycle Presenters and Assessors in all States/Territories will enable sufficient resources to service the anticipated demand for AustCycle Level 1 Teacher Accreditation to be established nationwide.
In order to achieve this, AustCycle is seeking final expressions of interest from people wishing to become Level 1 AustCycle Teacher Accreditation Program presenters and assessors. AustCycle will be holding a Presenter and Assessor Orientation on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August in Sydney.
To be eligible to attend the AustCycle Presenter and Assessor Orientation, you will need the following:
-
Current memberbership of Cycling Australia / BMX Australia / Mountain Bike Australia
-
A relevant presenter qualification (Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Bachelor of Education, Australian Sports Commission or Cycling Australia Presenter & Assessor training)
-
A current First Aid Qualification
-
A Working with Children Check in your State/Territory
-
Current Cycling Australia coach accreditation (ideally a level above that at which you will be presenting i.e. Level 2 or attended a Level 1 AustCycle course)
Interested parties should contact the AustCycle Operations Manager by email at info@austcycle.com.au or alexandra.bright@cycling.org.au to register their interest as soon as possible.
Further information can be found on the Presenter and Assessor Application Form (please click here to download). Those who have already completed and submitted this form to AustCycle or Cycling Australia do not need to resubmit this paperwork. Should you wish to register to become an AustCycle Presenter and Assessor, please complete and submit the Presenter and Assessor Application Form with any evidence of the required qualifications to assist with getting you involved in AustCycle.
Please note that all AustCycle Presenters and Assessors must be willing to obtain Level 1 AustCycle Teacher Accreditation.
